ABOUT THE FIELDERS

We’ve Got Team Spirit

Champion athletes aren’t just born - they’re selected, trained, molded and tested. Since 2016, we’ve been a competitive force in the Midwest Ohio area. We hone raw talent to maturity with quality coaching, primal workouts and a true love of the sport. Teamwork, perseverance, sportsmanship - those are the hallmarks of Fielders Baseball & Fastpitch.

Each player is individually selected to be a part of their team because of their unique abilities, hard work and dedication to their teammates and the sport. We emphasize being supportive teammates, teaching and practicing fundamentals of the game, breaking bad habits and building good muscle memory habits, and pushing our players to their fullest potential. We want to work really hard and be very competitive in everything we do during games and practices, but we also want an environment where the kids are not afraid to make mistakes and can have some fun too.

Player & Family Commitment

Fielders looks for players who want to dedicate their time towards being the best teammate and player they can be and realize the work and dedication it will take to accomplish that goal. We want selfless kids that care more about the success of their teammates than themselves. Obviously in travel ball, there has to be a higher level athletic talent as well.

We also look for families that are committed to supporting these players and the entire team in achieving their goals. Ensuring your athlete and all of their teammates receive plenty of recognition and encouragement at all times (yes even during those mistakes, we all make them) creates an invaluable level of confidence.

Coaches Commitment

The coaches of Fielders will provide the highest level of instruction possible. We will be competent, consistent and caring but will demand discipline, commitment and accountability to ourselves and players. The coaches are devoted to expressing positives and not talking in the negative. We will not be single minded & concentrate on what players do wrong, but rather teach them how to do it right. We will maintain positive behaviors and provide support, encouragement and motivation to our players. I cannot stress enough, player & team development and practicing fundamentals over & over is a core part of our structure. We want your athlete to be really good this year, but one of our highest priorities is for them to be ready for and better next year and into HS, regardless if they play for us again or not.
